Fueled by a passion for kiteboarding and armed with a wide array of combined skills, we have established an elite crew and a world-class kiteboarding center on South Padre Island.

The Roots of Kiteboarding on South Padre Island
South Padre Island Kiteboarding got its start in the winter of 2001. There were very few kiteboarders on the island back then so it was exciting to be a part of pioneering the incredible kiteboarding conditions of South Padre Island.
In 2001, water sports enthusiast and industry veteran Brenda Davoren, traveled frequently from her home in Hood River, Oregon to South Padre to learn how to kiteboard. Recognizing the potential for kiteboarding on the island, she teamed up with several local kiteboarders, including legendary instructor Cliff Stone, and acted on the idea to create the islands' first high quality kiteboard center and promote the sport of kiteboarding on the South Padre. After a lot of hard work, dedication and some savvy marketing, South Padre Island is now recognized world wide as one of the best kiteboarding destinations in the world.
Now in our 6th year, our love of kiteboarding has moved us through many epic adventures. Our customers and friends have been a driving force behind our progress and vision. Throughout our 6 years history, one thing has remained constant - we are kiteboarders at heart, drawing on influences from the world around us.

So come on down and enjoy the waist deep, flat water of the Laguna Madre or long down winders on the Gulf of Mexico where you'll find a variety of wind directions, and waves ranging in size from ankle high to an uneasy ten feet plus. It's always windy somewhere and when you add subtropical temperatures and an average daily wind speed of 18 mph, these are the elements that make South Padre Island the best place to kiteboard on the Planet!
We will continue to stick by the grass roots that helped make us the leading kiteboard shop on South Padre Island, and we'll also charge into the future and push riding to a new level. Our focus is to make kiteboarding more accessible to riders of all levels from beginner to expert.
